Authentic Boys
The international artist-collective Authentic Boys consists of Aaike Stuart (Rotterdam), Boris van Hoof (Rotterdam), Gregory Stauffer (Geneva) and Johannes Dullin (Berlin). Since their foundation in 2007, they have been exploring various ways to connect film, video-art and performance. The Authentic Boys work with images and themes, which are derived from everyday life. With their work they playfully illuminate and question the fictitious layers in reality and the authentic moments in the theatre, surrounding us. The game with the thin line between self and self-staging, being and performing, is often present as an essential element in the works of the Authentic Boys.
